Directions: The minimum age requirement to begin the licensing process in Georgia is 15 years old. Visit your local DDS office to take your Georgia permit test. If you are under 18, you’ll also need to bring a Certificate of School Attendance.

The Georgia permit test is divided into two sections of 20 questions: 1) Road Sign and 2) Road Rules. For each section, you need to answer a minimum of 15 questions correctly in order to pass.
